What is the battery protection feature of the GLACIER?

When the battery protection is turned on and the battery pack is connected, if the supply voltage falls below a set level, the device will automatically switch to supplying power via the plug-in battery. When the battery pack is not connected, the device will automatically shut down if the supply voltage falls below the set level.

When the plug-in battery is connected, which one does the external power supply charge first, the plug-in battery or the GLACIER?

When the battery level is less than 5%, the plug-in battery is charged first (because when the battery level is too low, the GLACIER cannot be turned on); and when it is not less than 5%, the GLACIER is charged first.

When the GLACIER is connected to solar input, can the plug-in battery not be connected?

No. When connected to solar input, keep the plug-in battery connected. Otherwise, the whole device cannot work properly.
